My Reflection

In this whole semester, semester 2, the first thing that I have done is to practice the manual signs of the tone in key. I learned twinkle-twinkle little star and lightly row song with the manual signs of tone in key. I practice the both song in the class with Mr. Harry. Then, I discuss about asian music. We made a groups and i got Chinese music for the topic for the power point presentation. My friends and I research on the internet for make the power point presentation. The teacher give us a booklet for make the power point presentation. Then, I have to make the individual paper about Chinese music. I worked on the booklet too to do the individual paper. After that, I sing a little silver moon and practice it in class with Mr. Harry. I sing the asian music. Then I have the quiz to sing the little silver moon. I also learned about major and minor scale in instrument class and music theory class. after that, I have a quiz about asian music, major and minor scale, and written test. Then I learned the pentatonic and diatonic scale. I write the pentatonic and diatonic melody but when I play it o the piano, it sounds a little bit weird so I change it. I practice to sing the pentatonic and diatonic scale. Then Mr. Harry told me to buy FINALE 2009 software. I play a song in Burgmuller book and I have to memorize it in the instrument class. After that, I have to put my pentatonic melody and the lyric into FINALE 2009. Then, I have to prepare for the performance assessment. I learned how to do a performance assessment. I will play the song in Burgmuller book for the performance assessment. I keep practicing to get a good score in the assessment. The last one, I learned how to do a transposition. I practice to transport a natural scale into 1 and 2 sharp scale.
